I did a lot of research before buying Klein Tools heavy duty rolling bag, even though it’s usually marketed for electricians and I am in drywall finishing skilled trade at the moment. I hadn’t heard of Klein Tools before, but after looking into it, I realized it’s a very solid brand with durable, heavy-duty quality and no cheap plastic parts.
I compared prices across the GTA, and this Maple Electric Supply store had the best price at the time. I wasn’t familiar with them, so I was a bit unsure at first, but they showed the item in stock and I decided to give it a try. The website feels a bit outdated, but it works fine. Just note that “in stock” doesn’t always mean it’s physically in the store.
The staff were helpful and professional. I originally chose delivery, but since I needed the bag sooner, I mentioned it, and they actually called me back and offered an earlier pickup option. That was really appreciated.
Overall, this experience showed me that not every business operates like well-known websites when it comes to tracking or website UX, but that doesn’t mean the service isn’t good. If anything is unclear, it’s worth calling or visiting because they do respond and follow through.
The bag itself is exactly what I needed. The size is perfect, it feels very durable, and the larger, softer wheels make it easy to move around. I also prefer the more enclosed design for safety if I use public transportation.
Positive experience overall 🙂 I’d recommend both the product and the store.

We live about an 1.5 hrs east of Maple Electric but because of how great their customer service was over the phone we made the trek over. Initially we called for a pot light we couldnt find elsewhere, the rep was super nice and asked for a photo via email as the potlight we had was discontinued with a new model released since. We sent the email and got an answer back within minutes. When we got to the store the people were super nice and willing to discuss the product, the rep even opened the box to show us the parts and helped understand how we would swap the old potlight with the new. OVERALL from inquiry to purchase the customer service was amazing!

Very happy with my whole experience with Maple Electric, it was the only place I could find the item I needed anywhere nearby or online and really saved my project.

I can't say enough good things about the customer service - everyone I spoke to was incredibly kind and helpful in getting my order placed and tracked. They were even kind enough to deliver the item to me for my convenience even though I selected in-store pickup, which saved me a good hour+ of driving.

I will certainly be shopping here again for my electrical needs.

Very kind staff and a great selection of product.
We have completely redone a century home using maple. Our prices were fair and I got exactly what I asked for.
Such a great experience.
My wife absolutely loves the pot lights and undercabinet lights in our newly renovated kitchen, and so many people compliment our lighting.
